_ DEC-O-LOG for KC750 _ DOL, KC750-R0001, KC750 Keyswitch SEP 83 PROBLEM: The KC750 option is not secure when the keyswitch is in the Remote/ Secure position. This can allow the memory of a running system to be modified from the remote port even if the keyswitch is in the Remote/Secure position. CORRECTION: 1. Lock module's DMA port in either Local/Secure or Remote/ Secure position (one etch cut and two wires). 2. Lock remote port DTR in either Local or Local/Secure position (one etch cut and four wires). 3. Add new serial number tag to KPL. 4. Correct CS-L0006-DM12, VA-L0006-00 and DD-L0006-00. IN-PLANT EFFECTIVITY: Febuary 19, 1982 FIELD EFFECTIVITY: Retrofit all KC750's to Unit Revision Level 1. The minimum acceptable revision levels of L0006 modules in spares stock is: Etch Revision "B" CS Revision "B1". Etch Revision "C" CS Revision "D". This FCO incorporates ECO L0006-00004. QUICK CHECK: Check for ECO wires on E6-3, 4; E12-12, 13; E133-12, 13, 14, 15; E176-24; and E187-5. ALso check for Etch cuts on side two near E42-13 and E187-5.
