Welcome to the Zilog Zeus News system!

The news command has been set up to give system personnel an easy
and efficient way of informing users of any items of current interest.
The news package is often used to inform users of scheduled shutdown
periods, changes in software, and other information necessary to use
the system.

To use this package, simply enter your information into a file in the 
/usr/lib/news directory.  Then edit /etc/motd and insert a message to
be used at login time to inform users of the news item.  The key word
preceding the message should be the name of the file you created in
/usr/lib/news.  Give it a try, its easy!
